The Canberra Psychology Centre for Children and Families (CPCCF) provides therapy from the antenatal period through all levels of child development to young adulthood. CPCCF also provides therapy to parents, families and adults.

The CPCCF team consists of a full time Paediatrician and a range of Psychologists and Clinical Psychologists with their own areas of expertise; such as ADHD, Specific Learning Disorders, Autism and Perinatal and Infant support services. The team work closely together to ensure the provision of best practice, evidence based assessment, diagnostic and therapy services.

Jo Richardson, Clinical Psychologist and founding Director of CPCCF, has a passion for working with children, and has devoted most of her career to working with children, adolescents and families. Jo founded CPCCF with the vision of providing Canberra with a dedicated child and family psychology centre.

Jo has more than 10 years experience of working as a Clinical Psychologist within the Canberra community. Prior to setting up her own practice in 2008, Jo worked in a variety of settings, including working as a Psychologist in primary schools in the ACT.

Jo’s main areas of experience and expertise include ADHD, Dyslexia, Learning Disorders and Autism. Jo also provides therapy for children in a wide range of areas and shares her time between child assessments and therapy, and being Director of the Centre.
