About Canberra Singapore Club

Canberra Singapore Club (CSC)

Canberra Singapore Club Description

The aim of the club is to provide a forum for networking and socialising. Through our regular functions and activities, members cultivate new friendship, network, exchange ideas, moan about the cold winter weather as well as the summer heatwave, have fun and enjoy what Singaporeans love most – makan (food). We also welcome Singaporean students who are studying in Canberra to join the Club. If you are currently studying here and would like an opportunity to meet up and socialise with other Singaporeans over a meal, we will be happy to hear from you. We may even be able to help you with tips on how to survive and enrich your experience in Australia! We organise social functions during festivals such as Chinese New Year, Deepavali, Singapore's National Day, Christmas, Moon cake and dumpling festival. The club also organises sporting activities including badminton and bushwalking. The CSC is always on the lookout for new activities for its members and any suggestions from the members are appreciated
