Tonight Amanda attended the #Menslink MidWeeker event, to listen to our Capital Chemist Sports Ambassador #ScottReardon speak about the accident that led to him losing his leg at the knee, but also about losing two of his mates to suicide.
In Australia, before the night is out, 5 men and one woman will feel so hopeless and lonely that they will take their own light.
In Canberra, once a fortnight, a 20-40 year old man will take their own life.
... So please, tomorrow, call someone and ask them how they are. Don’t assume they’re a happy go lucky person, because often they are the ones trying to hide their hopelessness.
