Capital Subaru

Caution, they can void your new car warranty, they sold me a lemon so now I'm stuck with a $26,000 mistake (after years of hard saving on the side). Will never buy a new car from Subaru ever again. Go to Sydney you can get new cars on average 2k cheaper anyhow. Subaru Fyshwick don't care about the lives of their already paid customers.

Grease marks all over Boot. Pressure upsell of some sort of safety test/wheel alignment check that you would think would be standard in a 600$ plus service. Parked car nose out so I wouldn't see the grease. Completely missed buckled rear wheel. Wont be using again.

When all other Subaru dealers were booked out for months tied up with the air bag recall, capital Subaru stepped up allocating space for a regular scheduled service. This was fantastic. Would have given 5 stars however when advised my car would be washed was a little disappointed to pick it up still dirty with a grease mark on the leather drivers seat.

Where to start? I had really positive experiences with these guys for the first 20 – 30 interactions in the service/parts area (never dealt with sales). About a year ago now I sought advice relating to clutch/flywheel and was ignored. Then recently I booked my car in for some suspension work after being advised that their workshop could do that job. Later I get a call telling me that they couldn’t do that work and that they couldn’t get it in at any of the suspension places nearby to get it done. This caused me massive inconvenience as I had to get the car to them and then myself to work, and myself back to get the car and no work done on it.
Cost me heaps of time and all I got was “sorry”. I then submitted them feedback through their website explaining the inconvenience it caused me and got no reply. I will echo the sentiment of another comment I read here, they could be less grumpy.

All that said I will still go here for parts as Bruce knows his stuff and I prefer genuine parts (unless they are ridiculously expensive).

I've taken my Subaru to these guys for service for a long time now and they're always very easy to deal with. I can't fault the quality of the work either. I'd them give 4.5 stars if I could.

Terrible service. Didn't have any options (and couldn't arrange them either) to test drive when we wanted to buy and then when we bought elsewhere they were extremely rude when just trying to book a service. I will never use this dealer and recommend that you go elsewhere. There are plenty of Subaru dealers around who are a lot nicer to deal with.

Staff have been really nice and their servicing is reliable. They have cleaned my car in multiple occasions after a service which was great and the location is good...right next to CMC.

My family was living in the United States and needed to buy a car for our return to Australia. Our experience working with Krys was excellent, he was thoroughly professional, personable, informative, and his responsiveness exceptional. On taking delivery, he provided a comprehensive explanation of the car's features. Overall a great, no hassle experience, and I would highly recommend Krys and the team at Capital Subaru. We are also very pleased with the quality and features of the Subaru Outback 2.5, a fantastic car!!

This place is great. I happened to be driving back from Melbourne in my Subaru xv when all these lights turned on. I was a bit concerned about the engine. They looked at my car right away. They still couldn't figure out the problem took it into the warehouse and discovered a bug trapped in the air intake valve. Although it ended up being a quick fix, they were so friendly and didn't charge me. Such great people! Thank you!
