It's lacking atmosphere but a big improvement over recent years! I encourage Casino Canberra to continue growing to the point where it attracts a new Chinese airline to fly directly into Canberra!

Great place for some weekend entertainment with live music and given it's the only casino in Canberra, it's definitely a gambler's haven. The variety of the games ever since their renovation has increased and regular free entry tournaments for members is also a bit different to big city casinos.

Only good if you walk out a winner...not too likely

With the new refurbished, the Canberra casino is a great place to go to watch the rugby or play on the new gaming tables. Great craft beer selection, wide range of Australian made spirits and wine makes it a great place for a drink.

If you like casinos this is a fairly low key affair.. food isn't bad here..

I went into the casino in the middle of the afternoon on a Sunday. There were a few table games going and some video gambling. The cheapest blackjack table was $25 per hand. My friends and I decided to start with some video roulette. After about half an hour, we decided to try our luck at the tables instead to find that the price had gone up to $50 per hand at blackjack. There were only about a dozen people in the entire place. On top of that, you still have to pay $7+ per beer. There was really nothing going on to drag me in here again. Most casinos lower the stakes during non-peak times to entice players in. This casino seemed perfectly happy taking your money and getting you out the door as quickly as possible. There was really no atmosphere. There was nobody cheering about a big win or anything that made you feel like anyone was doing anything other than losing money. I like to gamble here and there, but I really have no desire to come back to this particular casino.

Much better than the old casino. Still leaves some to be desired however.

Bit smaller/less crowded compared to other big city ones. But maintained quite well and people looked quite occupied in playing. In a great location , walking distance from Canberra centre.
