Reviews
Since their relocation and renovation with slightly bigger aisles it's a much better place to shop. With all the money these guys make all their stores could use bigger premises and larger walkways. But of all the stores Majura seems to be the best of the bunch.
It's a great place to shop, saved us heaps and just aftershave. Do yourself a favour.
I get all my meds here. Just double check the price of over the counter meds and stuff, might be cheaper elsewhere but the should match
This is the best chemist warehouse in Canberra, if not Australia. I've consistently had good service here from all the staff and their advice has areas been polite and thorough. I can't say the same for Fyshwick and Woden, which has always been a 2 or 3 star experience, which is why I will always try to get out here even if it's a bit out of the way.
Great chemist. Great prices on most items
Convenient stop over for vitamins and chemist supplies near Costco.
They put discounted price tags up on Xmas Eve for Boxing Day sales. I found out this when I arrived home. I will go and ask them for refund. Good luck to me.
I will call ACCC, if they do not refund me.
Should call ACCC on what happened today with their illegal practice, i.e. putting discounted price tags up on Xmas Eve for Boxing Day sales.
Bought items and found out they weren't discounted as per marked prices. The manager said that they were for Boxing Day and he did not want to bring anyone in on Xmas Day to change prices, obviously to save on costs to hire staff on public holiday.
He stated that I should have known as the security guard at the front was handing out flyers outlining this. As I was holding my baby at the time, the security guard did not give me a flyer.
Really poor attitude from the manager and he was resistant to giving me the refund despite clear conditions on the receipt.
The prices are good, but that comes at a cost. The store is too cramped and there doesn't seem to be enough staff. There were boxes piled up everywhere, making it difficult to find anything. I've never seen both registers in use and there's always a queue. They also have that really annoying practice of grouping items by brand instead of type, like a supermarket. This means you have to walk all over the store to compare competitors' products.
Extra cheap prescription medications plus a great range of discount medical and bathroom goods.
Excellent service, great prices on prescriptions, most pharmacies charge 47 dollars for my meds, Chemist Warehouse only charge me 20 for same product, also great range of perfumes at good prices
Very cheap prices, great quality, huge variety and good staff. We always go there for cosmetics, perfumes, vitamins and medicines. Only problem is there aren't enough parking spaces. It might be better to visit late during week as it is open quite late.
Good prices on some things. On the negative side they have mixed up my scripts. They put someone else's medications in with mine. This is not good and can potentially be very dangerous. Also they are not as cheap on scripts as they try and make you think. It depends a lot on what you need but don't assume you will get the best price here. I have also found that quality of service may vary. Sometimes very good but other times a little below the standard you would expect from a pharmacy.
Prices good but sometimes the waiting makes me question whether I should've gone elsewhere.
Shop is regularly messy out front when deliveries arrive. Boxes and packing at the front of the shop.
Prescription waiting time is normal only 10-15 minutes however the queue to the checkouts can go 15-20 people deep. This place is almost 5-star but just needs a little more attention to the customer experience
Great but take AMEX / Apple Pay!
Great prices and prompt service.
Good staff service
Not always the fastest service, but they do have really good prices.
Best chemist, the only problem is they don't take AMEX/Apple Pay.
Just what the name suggests. Here you will find an extensive range of products at a reasonable price.
Good chemist. One day people will figure out that the arrows on the floor mean this is how you line up!
Twice they have disappointed me. Pharmasist is Arrogant and know nothing about what custoner service is!! Pharmasist took my prescriptions with stoney face no manners to greet the customer even if customer greets them first. Then 40 Minutes for prescription. I just coudnt force myself to take my Medicines. I took my prescription and left the medicines in the basket. Will stick to discount pharmacy in Belconnen. Atleast they always serve you with smiling face. And paying few dollars extra to keep my dignity intact is a good bargain.
Cheaper place to buy medication in Australia. Brought the medication prices down since started. More variety of products available to affordable prices.
When Chemist Warehouse starts taking AMEX / Apple Pay, I will upgrade my review to 5 stars.
i drove out there to try perfumes that they have.. they have heaps but all locked away behind glass doors.. even the testers.. useless.. you would think one brainiac would leave the testers on table or something. i left without buying and wont be back. take my business to a store that trusts its customers.
Mildly cheaper prices, no the wrong side of town for me
Massive amount of items in stock and prices far cheaper than the big chemist chains.
Waiting for prescriptions can take a while though and theres nowhere to sit whilst waiting. I find I just wander around staring at shampoos and bottles of vitamins for ten minutes, and always awkwardly ending up in the feminine hygiene aisle.
Such a badly set up store, the aisles so narrow you literally can't move, there's stock everywhere the customer service team seem overwhelmed in the chaos making for a terrible shopping experience. I'll stick with Chemost Warehouse in Majura Park they seem to have done well with their relocation and reno.
Australia's cheapest? Nope. Prices of scripts are identical to my small, local pharmacy.
Wife purchased aftershave for me, not my favourite so tried to exchange however after 7 days this wasn’t allowed. Abysmal customer service policy. Will never shop here again. Spread the word too!
Had a great experience at Gungahlin chemist warehouse was feeling sick the staff from the script area
helped me with the right stuff and made me feel better at the same time . Thanks
