Chinese Inn Restaurant

Gday all
My wife and i got a meal delivered to our house from this "restaurant" The Chinese inn restaurant in kippax . My wife was bathing our newborn so i ate my dinner while she was doing that so i could look after her while she ate hers. She came up and said "weres the special fried rice" i looked and there was none. She dosnt like boiled rice at all so she called them back 5 times each time they said "they didnt understand" or "we do our best ok" or "we be there in 10 minuits" each time we had to give them our details , name,address and phone number it was almost like no one was listening. One hour and fourty five minuits later it came . She was asleep with bubby by the time it came . I made her two toasted sandwiches instead. Great way to treat yourself and relax on a friday afternoon. Oh and they also said that they wanted there boiled rice back swear on my mum and dad . And she took it when i handed it to her at the door... i will never ever buy food from there ever again and i strongly recommend you dont either.And to add to this i have never ever even done a review on a restaurant in my life on the Internet but i was so bloody appalled at how we were treated i just had to.

Unfortunately not much going for it. Entree was the best part. Rice came out with the second dish and was cold. Flavours quite bland. Like a previous reviewer said - must have been a special on onions this week. Won't be back.

Disappointed. Food was ordinary. Much better Chinese available in the area.

This is an exceptional restaurant with fine food and very friendly service be it dine in or takeaway.
If other people concentrated on improving their own establishments there would be no need to get on here throwing fake one star reviews at this place.
Highly recomended.

Um where do I start.....three times I asked for braised honey with no onion the first three times they attempted to give me something resembling deep fried chicken, so on the fourth time we got the braised honey.....but laced with fricken onion!!!!!!

Top quality food good service. Will be back

Quaint little place with excellent food and service. We have lunch there every Friday and get special treatment from the staff and owner.

Great lunch specials

This is far from being a good restaurant! We ordered last night and were told the order would be ready in 10 minutes, we waited 55 minutes. We order steamed dims sims and spring rolls and got steamed dim sims and fried dim sims. Ordered combination laksa with no noodles and it was all noodles. Everything else was barely edible and the plain omelette was so sweet it should have been on the dessert menu! We won't be going back and the only reason we tried it was that Kevin's Place, which is across the road and has exceptional food was closed for Chinese New Year.

By far my favourite Chinese restaurant! Always so happy with the quality of the food. Would definitely recommend :)
