Solid, it is what it is. They sell beer.. They have snooker tables. Pretty standard, good drink selection, can't really fault it so I'll give it a 5.

Nice to finally find a genuine pub in canberra. Has a great selection of beers on tap and has many pool tables. Great place to let off some steam when in the area.

Some bar staff a bit aloof and up themselves. Good space around the corner with lounges. Great spot for pool and a beer.

Very good pub food. Fresh tab beer. Nice decor. If you like to play pool there's like 50 pool tables.

This place was really good until I went to order a honey bourbon on the rocks and got told it had to be mixed with something. Only the top shelf could be served on the rocks. What spastic decided this!?

Great food and staff. Just a consistent solid pub to eat and drink.

Civic Pub is a decent place for a casual get-together. Don't go for the beer unless you especially like dull beer (try Bentspoke for beer with flavor). Don't go for the food if you're after a great dining experience. Do go for a place to chat that's comfy and isn't too loud. Do go if you want to pay billiards.

The Socceroos must beat Peru when they meet in Sochi at the World Cup if they're any hope of progressing to the round of 16.
While they'll also need France to defeat Denmark, Australia must first find a way past an unlucky and dangerous Peruvian outfit that will be looking to depart Russia with something to show for their efforts.
Peru have suffered narrow 1-0 defeats in both of their group games and will not be easy pickings for a Socceroos side short on goals.

We are from Sydney and were told about this hotel. We had a lovely meal which we thoroughly enjoyed but there were not enough tables as mist were reserved. But lucky for us we managed to eat before the bookings arrived. Highly recommend this place for s great meal.
