Coffee Lab

My partner and I tried the Coffee Lab for breakfast recently and were pleasantly surprised!!

I had the best breakfast I've ever had out in Canberra!

The Buddha Bowl was delicious, filling and very healthy! Definitely recommend the Coffee Lab for breakfast or brunch!

Poor breakfast - toast was over cooked, scrambled eggs not cooked properly. Ask for the drink in the order - had to go to their register again to remind.
However they gave me discount as a apologies.

Great vibe, crates and plants for decor, open windows for a breeze. Fantastic coffee and friendly service. Definitely come again. Vegetarian and vegan options galore.

Went for lunch on a sunday, the chocolate peanut butter milkshake was great, as was the iced latte. The activist burger was AMAZING and the servings were so big we couldn't finish. However, the big kahuna burger wasnt the best and the chicken tasted a little like blue cheese. Great atmosphere and nice sunny seats. Staff were also excellent.

Coffee lab is my "go to" on weekends. Food is awesome, coffee is consistent and service is friendly. Beautiful quiet location for a sit down in the sun. I highly recommend Coffee Lab!!

Nice little place, chill music and the give you blankets. Can't say too much, got a hot chocolate and a coffee, looked good and tasted good, first time I've had someone do art on my hot chocolate :) the only downside was, the drink wasnt very hot. staff were nice and attentive :)

I definitely appreciate the food but we were made to wait for more than an hour. Even after such long wait one of our orders was still not delivered. This forced us to leave. Recommend for food but management must look into timely food delivery.

Food was delicious. Didn't have any coffee though. Cool atmosphere.

Place has gone to the dogs since original management left. The front staff have a "take it or leave it" attitude, the girl on the coffee looked like she has all day to do her job. One of these trendi places where the attitude doesn't match the customer experience. No skin off my nose, plenty of other places in the city that are worthwhile.

They have a new menu now which has A lot more vegan options, which is great. Unfortunately a lot of the options remove the most interesting part to become vegan. So would be great if they could stay exciting and be vegan! But food tastes good, coffee is good, and the staff are always lovely. The chia breakfast is delicious, and the mushroom breakfast would be perfect if it had a little something extra (presumably this is what the non-vegan sauce does for the dish...would be great if it were substituted rather than just omitted). Will continue to come back, hoping for even more improvements!

Coffee tasted a bit sour to me. Everything is good but not impressive. Not many options for gluten sensitive customers.

Great coffee and food. Convenient location very close to the Canberra Centre (although you wouldn't know it was there). Great opening hours (see picture).

Made an enquiry via FB. Someone read the message and didnŌĆÖt reply. Phoned instead to book table and was told all good and booked. Got to Cafe and was told they donŌĆÖt book tables so had to wait (we had 11 people hence the booking). Kids pancakes were burnt. Ordered ham cheese tomato toasted sandwich and it came out with no tomato. The bread was that tough we couldnŌĆÖt eat it. No apology given for booking mix up. I had this cafe recommended to me as it was for my birthday lunch. What a disaster.
