Dancekids

DanceKids is a Canberra based educational program designed to inspire young people to take an active interest in science, the environment and other cultures, through different styles of dance and hands on, interactive and creative workshops.

DanceKids offers this resource in the forms of in-class interactive 5 week programs (suitable for ages 2-9) to be run alongside the classroom teacher, CSIRO workshops (suitable for children for 4-10 to attend with an adult), birthday parties (suitable for ages 3-10, with a focus on a theme and a large dance element in either hip-hop, disco, jazz and free form.

DanceKids incorporates many styles of dance, science education, costumes and props to inspire and enlighten children and assist them with a style of kinasthetic learning, cultural awareness, confidence and skills building.
