DEAFNESS FORUM is the national voice for one in six Australians and their families whose personal experiences of hearing impact on their lives.

OUR OBJECTIVES

Represent and promote the interests and wellbeing of people who are Deaf or Hearing Impaired or have a chronic ear disorder

Represent and provide a forum for people and organisations who wish to promote the interests and wellbeing of people who are Deaf or hearing impaired or have a chronic ear disorder

Encourage, conduct and aid research of relevance to people and organisations within the deafness sector, to advance their interests

Be the federal government’s trusted and authoritative adviser on matters of concern to the entire deafness sector

Engage with members and dedicate our resources to managing inputs received from all sources that contribute to policy positions

Deliver high quality, outreach programs

Be an economical, flexible, responsive and well-managed organisation that efficiently and effectively implements its strategic initiatives.
