Degree Cafe (Permanently Closed)

Service is crazy quick, but the staff is usually unhappy (not their fault! But it makes it a little unpleasant to sit in)

Love Degree Cafe - great coffee, best breaky deal - egg and bacon roll with coffee $8, and a lovely atmosphere both in and out of the cafe.

Occupying prime campus real estate, Degree seems like a pleasant place to sit, eat, drink and meet people, but I've never been able to do any of those things because they only accept currency in the form of metallic disks or thin polymer sheets with Lizzy II's face on them. Degree, I give you two mid-70s cash-registers out of five for being too cheap to buy an Eftpos machine.

The coffee here is burnt and well below average. The guys that work there are loud and unprofessional and it felt like as a customer I was intruding on their bro’s afternoon. The last time I went there two of the staff members kept arguing about which song to play and at what volume. Not a nice atmosphere.
