Reviews
Overpriced goods but the staff are friendly and helpful
Fantastic service, knowledgeable staff
These guys were great. I can't name all the staff but the people in the coffee makers area knew their stuff, as did the computer people. After sales service was even better. Can't praise them highly enough.
Owned by Harvey Norman so a great range of products and price is negotiable
Greeted with great customer service - in and out in a flash with what I needed
Today I visited many businesses, looking for a decent computer keyboard. Every shop had them in boxes... so couldn't try them. Was leaving Bunnings and noticed Domayne, figured it was worth a go. Young chap in the computers bit came and offered to help, and then happily volunteered to open the boxes so I could try the keyboards. Bingo! Found one. What excellent service. Couldn't have been better.
Overpriced furniture and electrical goods. Service is average to non existent. The only saving factor is that the quality of their products are generally good but again, you can find better if you shopped around.
I just go to check out the deals, there is always something on sale here for a decent price. Staff is always friendly. Although regular pricing is on the high side they always stock quality brand furniture.
Domayne has a decent range of stock, and the prices aren't bad. It's just the hyper-aggressive sales people you need to watch out for.
You can't walk 5 metres in any of the shops Mr Harvey & his family own without being approached 5 times by over-enthusiastic staff who are keen to 'convert' you into a sale.
What can I say - I dare say these staff are getting the same stupid pressures like when I did stints in retail.
Managers who are keen to get their performance bonus refusing to believe that sometimes people are actually just looking around & might not want to buy something right there and then (regardless of how much it's discounted 'just this once').
