Friendly and honest to deal with, spoke with me not at me. Helped with advice and gave clear options on what I could to prevent further issues. Will happily recommend to friends and family.

Good knowledge and advice however, never received a quote I paid $167 for! Not bad money for a 30 minute visit! Maybe go for a plumber that has no call out fee if it is not an emergency.

Dr Drains are fantastic. They went above and beyond in helping me with an extremely stressful large plumbing issue. I was destined to pay a large sum of money with another company but when I contacted Dr Drains for a second opinion they provided me with honest advice and fixed my issue at a way more realistic price.

Honesty. integrity, professional, considerate and highly skilled - I wouldn't use anyone else !

A very positive experience. Jason arrived right on time and was extremely thorough, explained everything clearly and was able to fix the problem within an hour. Highly recommended.

Jeremy attended very promptly (within an hour) to our backed up stormwater drains. He was very analytical in his approach and took pains to explain to me what he was doing and what his conclusions were which seemed very sound. Cost was $484.

This is the second time I had dealt with Dr Drains, having used them in a previous property. The high quality of the service the first time led me to seek them out specifically this time.

Jeremy and the team are professional and prompt. The problem I had related to a drainage issue on public land, not my property, and Dr Drains identified the issue and logged it as a job with the local authorities. Jason also rigged up a temporary fix until the local authorities got round to dealing with the problem permanently.

I am very happy with the friendliness and professionalism of Dr Drains, and will use them again if I have any more stormwater issues.

Absolutely fabulous service!
It's a long-weekend. Our sewage is overflowing onto the lawn and into the garden. Yep, we've got a blockage.
One call to Dr Drains and next morning (a public holiday Monday) Jason arrives on-time, smiling and with a 'can do' attitude. With his high pressure gear, in practically no time he's cleared the obstruction. No problem.
But wait for it - he actually cleans up as well ! How many plumbers cleanup?
If you're looking for on-time, friendly, professional service, you really can't go past Dr Drains.

We had a blockage in our sewerage pipe that had caused our waste to come up through the drain in the downstairs shower and also up through a riser in the backyard all over our paved area. I phoned Dr Drains and they had Jason here within 30 minutes. He was friendly and polite and had the problem dealt with as quickly and as thoroughly as possible. He also cleaned away the muck in the yard. I'd definitely call these guys again to deal with any drain issues.

Called about a blocked drain and was told that someone could be there in ~45min. No mention up front of the costs involved. When their guy arrived, he told me the cost, which I felt was too dear, and politely declined. I was then phoned by the boss and basically told that unless I went ahead with the work, I'd be stung with a $169 call-out fee. He explained that it was so dear as they use the latest water-jet technology, etc... and gave me the 10% 'on-line booking' discount, but I was certainly left feeling that I had little choice but to accept the job. When I asked the plumber on site about their root foam and sleeving options, I was told that a full drain clean-out would be needed first, and that this was just an unblocking job (despite having just been told that the 'latest technology' I was paying for was so expensive because it both unblocked and cleaned out drains...?). To be fair, they unblocked the drain, and all the other reviews on here are positive, so perhaps I was just unlucky with my experience. Nevertheless, the lack of up front costs and somewhat strong-armed tactics mean I'll be going with someone else next time.
EDIT: Received a call from Jeremy soon after posting this review who seemed genuinely concerned about my dissatisfaction with things. I've increased my rating from 2 to 3 stars as I accept that not many businesses would do this - like I said, perhaps I was just unlucky with my experience.
