Through Embracing Chemo you will learn to use your inner resources – which most people don’t even know they have – to minimise the side-effects of treatments while maximising their effectiveness.

I get really excited about research like this. We are all so hell bent on understanding our problems rather than addressing them at a sub-conscious level - which is where it's all taking place anyway. Turns out, the conscious mind is just the middle-man.

The language we use is so important. I prefer to think of the experience of cancer as a chronic condition, not a 'disease'. A chronic condition is something my mind can get around as manageable over the long term, not an out of control fire which the word disease may bring to mind...
