My name is Florence and I am a certified French teacher & tutor with more than 5 years experience in teaching to a broad and diverse public - including children, teenagers and adults.

I am a native speaker and I have worked more than 5 years with prestigious and world renowned institution such as Alliance Française in Canberra and various Universities.
My experiences brought me to work with tutoring Primary School kids and High School students for their French topic as well as offering support for French-Australians school programs (Telopea Park School) and French official exams.

My professional background as a teacher covered training French teachers such as the ACT French Network (Australia) and supervising French trainees & interns.
I am trained to phonetic correction following the Verbotonal Method and I make it an important part of your learning process. For four years I coordinated and designed a State French Competition, Concours George Vincent for the Alliance Française de Canberra - rewarding the best achieving teenagers in the Australian Capital Territory.

My approach of teaching aims to be comprehensive, creating a fun, interesting, rewarding environment where you feel safe and confident learning a new language. As I often say to my students we all face different "barriers" when facing the unknown. I am interested in helping and making my classes fulfilling goals and enriching my students.

I speak various languages (Spanish, English, Italian, Chinese (Mandarin) and learnt the southern french dialect of Occitan). As you can guess, I have a passion for language and for creating fun, dynamic, safe and rewarding learning process. I am thankful to be a teacher and I learn from every single one of the hundred of students I coached, tutored and prepared.
