Great stadium, a bit too small but great atmosphere for rugby league !
Good stadium sad that never is sold out but nice seats okay food can be freezing in winter getting to almost or negative degrees be prepared enthusiastic crowd.
Classic older stadium with beer in cans, cup holders in the armrests and a great collection of fans.
Need a better big screen that doesn't look straight into the sun.
Great stadium just be sure your ready for the low temperatures in wintertime
A nice sized and easy to visit stadium. Most people were well behaved.
I do love an open stadium (unless it rains). I prefer to sit in the Gregan-Larkham stand as it seems closer to the action and has a better atmosphere (at least during brumbies matches)

One of the better stadiums I've been too. I cant comment on parking, but the facilities were good.

In alignment with the NRL Women in League Round, the Canberra Raiders will be hosting a Valkyrie Luncheon in the East Lounge, GIO Stadium, Bruce on Sunday the 12th of August before the round 22 NRL clash between the Canberra Raiders and the Wests Tigers.
This luncheon is an opportunity for females within the Canberra community and surrounds to come together to hear from inspirational guest speaker Jacqui Cooper, enjoy a 2-course lunch and premium beverage package, all whilst networking and enjoying each others company.

The Rugby League World Cup is Rugby League’s premier international competition.
First held in 1954, the 2017 Rugby League World Cup is the 15th iteration of the historic tournament. The 2017 Rugby League World Cup will feature 14 mens and 6 womens teams from around the globe hosted in Australia, New Zealand and Papua New Guinea.

First time at the ground and found parking to be okay with a short 10 minute walk to the ground. Entry to the stadium wasn't too bad. $40 premium reserve seating and it was top 3rd last row...needed a telescope to see the play on the ground. There were tv's set up due to the distance of the seats from the ground, but with 7-8 second delay it was impossible to watch. Half time I ventured to get food and drink and it was a mission to find a food/drink outlet. Not much change out of $20 for a beer and food which is ridiculous. Not sure how Canberrians put up with those prices??
This was without a doubt the worst sporting stadium I have been to in Australia...needs a lot of improvement!!
