Reviews
Not as good as the woden library, but still very nice. I really liked the appearance of the library, and the quiet areas and kids areas. Everything was stylish.
The access to the library is very exposed, and would benefit from a few trees, pergolas, or other structures to encourage people to make the effort. Also, the front entrance is not obvious from the street.
There isn't a variety of books like I expected. Many of the books are great for informative things like cooking, history etc. The young adult section is great as it provides teens or pre-teens a sense of privacy and is a nice place to just chill but the books are very horrible. Most seem to be about love or intimacy and they don't have popular books such as The Hunger games or Divergent, just boring unknown books from budding authors. I haven't had the chance to go to the cafe. I recommend this to adults who just need a place to have a enjoyable moment or learn a new skill.
Friendly staff, convenient location and good faculties for families with young kids
New, big, modern, beautiful, state of art. Love it. Remains open late on Wednesdays, also open on weekends
Brilliant place! Lovely and modern, with a good selection of books and friendly staff. The interior has heaps of natural light and there is also a cafe in the library. A tad noisy at times (Children's section), however there are noise proof rooms and free internet.
This is a first-class public library. Good collection of books, video, audio etc and very pleasant sitting areas. Located in the centre of Gungahlin close to public transport and parking.
Good selections of books and friendly staff. Although it has a contemporary design, there are little noise controls infernally.
The kids section is placed in the middle which can disturb others when there are singing days.
There are ample spaces for people to work individually and make use of their services.
The hours for the library are also sub-standard.
