I took both my son's here for a haircut. There was one woman there who was absoultely delightful to deal with. Great customer service and a friendly and approachable personality.

A young lady cut both my sons hair. And to her credit she perserveered with my 20 month old who was quite difficult. And not really cooperating. I could tell she wasnt happy with the cut and i wasn't either but it was the best that would happen that day. As it was really uneven and noticably. Which i understand being a baby still. Though i was charged full price for his cut? I came home and recut his hair.

My eldest son i tried to explain how i wanted it to her. Short back and sides with a bit of length up the top. Then when she was cutting i asked her to take the clippers up higher as he has it really short on the sides. I used to be a hairdresser so i know how to cut and style hair and i usually do my kids hair but we have just moved and i hadnt had the time. She was then a little rude about it and said she had to blend it. Which is fine, she then went to a longer clipper up further. I shut my mouth for the hair cut and she finished and proceeded to blow him off without asking if we were happy. Which i wasnt as there was still a massive corner all around where the long and short hair met. It wasn't blended probably. She then said its because i wanted her to take the clippers up further. Righto i am not an argumentative person but we were paying for a service and i just think she was really lacking some customer service skills. She then attempted to blend it a bit better. And finished. We paid the bill and left. When we got home i could see the disconnection up the top and further she hadn't blended the 2 clipper sizes. He had a line (like a step) all the way around his head and the top aswell it didn't look right. So again i have recut his hair now.

Don't get me wrong she did attempt to be a bit friendly. I just found her quite argumentative, when i try really hard to be friendly and ask politely i apologised if i wasnt explaining it well enough.

We won't be coming back for those reasons. As overall the cuts were not very good and overall experience wasnt the best. Perhaps we just caught her on a bad day i don't know.

just called to try and get a rough idea on how much a trim for short to medium hair would be and the guy that answered the phone was no help and wouldn't even try and help me. pretty dissapointed as i work close to these guys so it would be convenient for me to go there, but i probably wont now.

Just bought a bunch of stuff from these guys. The service is awesome! Their product range is fantastic and their prices are great. The owner/manager is super helpful and very welcoming. Highly recommend them 😊😊

They pierced my nose with a nose screw, causing it to sink into my nose + become infected. Told me it was because I am allergic to surgical steel, despite all the surgical steel earrings I currently have - Redpaths is way better

Just want to highly commend the work of Harmonie. She exhibited friendly and professional service. Got highlights and am very pleased with the result, hard to find a good hairdresser like her who can get colour right, would definitely recommend and will be booking in with her again.

I had my hair done by Ali who did an amazing job. I have had my hair bleached once before elsewhere and was coming to get it redone and a haircut. Although we were using a weaker bleach, it was still quite painful for me, but Ali took care of me by putting milk on my hair (a hairdresser's trick) which instantly helped. Ali toned my hair perfectly, given that I don't think it went as light as we wanted and the cut is great. I had a great experience, and Ali is clearly a pro!

I got the exact hairstyle/cut I wanted and I am SO happy! The staff here were all so lovely and happy! My hairdresser was so careful with my hair and did the best job ever! I highly recommend these guys!

The service was appalling. Creepy staff that were rude and inappropriate. Some staff were good but I would never recommend it to anyone. Couldn't do hair, couldn't speak English and wouldn't listen when you asked them to stop. Bad layout and very public (people can look at you while you are getting your hair done) and all in all the absolute worst place in Canberra to get your hair done.

Had the best blow dry here recently. Very friendly staff.

I had a very poor experience. I brought pictures of a previous haircut I had and asked if they had a hairdresser that could match it. I was told yes but the answer is a resounding NO. Instead I received the worst haircut I have ever had.

The staff are really lovely but unfortunately I didn't come out looking at what I asked for. I had a good balayage but just wanted the ends to match my root colour. I have naturally ash brown hair, I came out a couple shades lighter than black.
Lovely staff but not to good with colours. I won't be going back.

Probably one of the worst haircuts I've ever had. The hairdresser was incredibly rough, made my entire neck red. Rushed and cut corners without any care or consideration and didn't secure the cover so hair was all through my clothing and shirt with no apology at all. To top it off I was charged $40 without a wash, style or anything. I'd suggest taking your business to JustCuts around the corner.

Piercer is never in. Not very helpful.

A young lady named Monica gave me a wash & blow dry.
The wash was average. Monica put shampoo on my head & loosely rubbed most of my head.
When she conditioned she simply touched my head with water & conditioner.
We all know the wash & scalp massage is the best part of getting your hair done, but this was just wetting my hair & putting some product on it before rinsing.
Her blow dry was very simple. I requested it to be tucked under with volume. All she did was dry it, not style it, & it was left unshaped with fly aways.
She was a lovely person - friendly, chatty & poliet - but I won't go back. It's not worth the high price tag with unskilled work.

Some staff there don't know their products and can't give any real suggestions to customers. All they want is to sell you things rather than give professional opinions on what you need.
