The Hockeyroos are heading to Japan next month to compete in the Four Nations Women’s Ibaraki International Tournament as part of their preparation for the 2020 Olympics! There will be live streaming for all matches so you’ll be able to stay up to date with all of the action! Hockey ACT is pleased to announce the 22 man Canberra Lakers side that will compete in the 2018 Australian Hockey League (AHL), a month long home and away tournament to be held across the month of October.

Hockey ACT would like to extend a congratulations to staff members Stirling and Callum for the new additions to their families this past weekend.
Callum welcomed a healthy baby girl, Elvira and Stirling welcomed a baby boy Sebaztian.
In addition to our two staff members, Cam from Tuggeranong Vikings Hockey Club also had a baby girl this weekend named Beatrix.

A big THANK YOU to everyone that was a part of our Chris MacKinnon Memorial Weekend for 2018. From the players that came and participated in their games (especially those dressed in pink), the team that managed the merchandise stand, managers, coaches, support crews and spectators, we are grateful that all attended and cheered on from the sideline.
Another thank you to everyone that purchased raffle tickets and merchandise, attended the auction, put in a guess in for the jelly bean jar and went to breakfast! The contributions that we received over the weekend were outstanding and we are hoping to have a final number on our efforts soon!
