Today our Year 5 & 6 students attended a STEM investigaton day at St. Mary MacKillop College. Our students had a wonderful day learning how to persevere when faced with a challenge or two! Thanks to the wonderful teachers and students at MacKillop College for facilitating the day.
Congratulations to Sophia who received a Fred Hollows Humanity Award. The award recognises Year 6 students who follow in Fred’s footsteps by making a positive difference in their community.
We Need Your Help! Holy Family is changing the way our rubbish is being collected and recycled. We have purchased new co-mingling bins for each eating area, the courtyard & COOSH. In an effort to reduce our waste, we are introducing LITTERLESS LUNCHES every Monday & Tuesday, starting tomorrow! Let’s work together to decrease the amount of rubbish going to landfill and increase the amount of items being recycled.

What an incredible day - Colour Run 2018! Congratulations and thank you Mrs Potter for all of your organisation for the event. Thanks also BFirm for ensuring that our little Ninja Warriors had an amazing time navigating their way through all of the obstacles.

Today our Year One students were taken back to the time when school was far less fun😳 #pastandpresentlife
As part of RUOK? Day the Health and Wellbeing Stewardship team organised a teacher vs students OzTag game. Teachers were happy to come away with a win after a close match with great sportsmanship and a large crowd cheering both teams on. #ruok?
This morning 13 year 6 students attended the official R U OK? breakfast at Parliament House to recognise the tenth year of this campaign. Holy Family will use the information gained this morning to spread this important message throughout our community, beginning Friday with our RUOK? Day. Students are encouraged to wear something yellow and will be exploring the four steps to ensure our friends are OK; 1- Ask the question 2- Listen 3- Encourage action 4- Check in
Have a great week and enjoy this glorious weather 🌞
