Really great service, quick repair, and a reasonable price that was exactly what I was quoted! All the staff were great and I didn't even need to book in, just call them to let them know I was coming. As soon as I stepped in the door they were ready to go, and as soon as I came in to pick it up just as it clocked over the two hours they had advised me, it was all finished. Would highly recommend!

Best in class reliability and swift in service, but was hoping to see a bit more positivity in their behavior when addressing customers. They seem very bored, but nonetheless they get the job done really well and that's all that really matters.

Gave these guys a call after some lovely people decided to help themselves to the stereo gear in my car. It was a Saturday, and they were the only ones taking phone calls, so I booked in my car for first thing Tuesday. Quoted $280, which I deemed reasonable enough given the short turnaround and lack of other options, with the disclaimer that they didn't have an appropriate piece of glass on hand, but it would be ordered Monday morning and would definitely be there on time. Sweet as, no problems.

Enter Tuesday morning, and I mosey on over to the shop. Hand over the keys, and spend the next 2 hours hanging around Fyshwick, taking in the sights of car yards and sex shops. On my return, I'm informed that they hadn't actually ordered the glass at all, and had tried to call me earlier on (the lack of anything in my phone's call log says otherwise). Whatever, the bloke at the counter seems a tad timid, and I absolutely loathe talking on the phone so perhaps he's the same. In any case, what was done was done, best thing was to figure out where to from there. I was informed that they'd have it by Thursday, so I make the appointment then and there.

Come Thursday, I head in, hand over the keys, and come back to a fresh piece of glass, just what I asked for. The boys had given the inside a vacuum as well (I admit I had not cleaned up the shards from the original glass), so props to them for doing that for us. I go inside to pay, and I'm informed the cost was $310, which I questioned. Looking at the receipt, I see that the parts + labour came to $280, and the extra $30 was GST. Now I've heard some odd things in my time, but I've yet to receive a quote that didn't include GST. Still, I accept that the government wants its cut, so I hand over the extra rather than press it.

Looking at other reviews here, I'm perfectly willing to accept that the delays + dodgy quote were a one-off, and this shouldn't deter others from choosing these folks for their glass needs. That being said, being told that the replacement window would be there for the initial appointment, only to be delayed 2 days and then have an extra $30 thrown on top of what I was originally quoted, is enough to ensure I personally won't be returning if I find myself in the same situation again.

Had Instant Windscreens and Tinting do my front windows on my Audi RS3 a few weeks ago. Faultless job, matches the privacy glass on the rear perfectly and the cut is excellent. Total cost was only $120. Best quote I could find and fast turnaround.
