The base of our pizza was burnt which ruined the taste completely, overpowering everything with the taste of ash. However the duck pasta was unique and delicious. I'd say the best thing they executed was the chocolate dessert we ordered which succeeded in providing richness and decadence to the meal. The service was also excellent. Overall, I had high expectations however, unfortunately, the burnt pizza ruined the experience for me.

Italian and Sons is consistently one of the best restaurants in Canberra. The food is outstanding and their wine list is so comprehensive that you'll be glad to hear advice from the friendly and knowledgeable staff.

Couldn't get a table when we went but they were willing to sit us at the bar which is great considering we didn't book. Food is so delectable and staff are friendly, can't wait to go back here.

"Talk of the town since 2009" must be a very small town with very little to offer. Which in a way describes 'Italian and sons' over priced and very underwhelming I had the unfortunate experience of dining here. I found the head server (pasquale) or whatever title the incredibly rude and un warm gentlemen (and I use that term loosely) in your employee was icing on the cake on what has been the worst dining experience in recent memory.

Do yourselves a favour and don't even bother.

Delicious and unusual meal. Excellent service. Next time in Canberra we'll come again.

The best thing about this restaurant is the service. The staff are so welcoming and attentive; this despite having to serve a full house. The food was nice, but not amazing as you might expect from the price. Still, I had a great experience. Worth a try.
