Definitely a must go to place for fish lovers, only place that have plenty of different variety of plants for your fishes. The staff are very nice and helpful. Only downside is that the price for fish medication, test kits are a bit on the pricey side when compare to pet supply stores nearby.

But overall if you want advice from fish specialist, this is the place to go.

Very friendly and reliable staff, they give helpful advice and are passionate about their fish. They also buy unwanted fish off you and help diagnose any problems you might have.

Best specialist aquarium shop in Canberra by far, the staff are happy to answer questions and give advice / chat about the hobby.

Amazing variety of fish available, both fresh and salt water.
All fish that I have purchased here have been excellent quality.

Prices can be a bit higher than other standard pet shops around town however for the great advice provided and great range it is well worth it.

Great customer service! I'm a relative newbie, but have spent many an hour reading "advice" and watching YouTube clips online, only to confuse myself and make things more complicated than they needed to be.

Popped in today and spoke to Morgan... and learned more in 10 minutes with him than anything else online! Happily answered questions and spent the time to explain why on any queries I had.

To be perfectly honest, the prices aren't dirt cheap (they compare well to the bigger chain stores like Petbarn or Petstock, but online pricing is of course cheaper), however GOOD OLD FASHIONED CUSTOMER SERVICE is so lacking these days! Do yourself a favour and support the local guys, and reward good service.

I went in there needing extras from sale items I bought elsewhere online, and I honestly should've just got it all there. Not much difference in price, but really reassuring to know there's a knowledgeable and friendly business in Belco I know I can trust. No pressure tactics, no addon sales, just steady as she goes. Thanks! I'll be back for the fishies next week :).

These guys are amazing. They've given me great advice every time, and sat happily through my millions of questions each time I come back. They really do care about fish, and will never put animals in discomfort just to make a sale.

The WORST service I have ever received in any pet store. I walked in during the week and waited to be served. Upon entry no staff member was at the front and I waited patiently for 10minutes before I wandered through. Staff members were just 'hanging out' in and around the bays and backroom. A young man had earphones in which was incredibly unprofessional and they looked less than eager to provide any service. Fish were dead in the bays and the marine section was disgusting and low stocked. I must've come in at the wrong time as the place looked incredibly unprofessional and the staff members are a huge reflection of this.

I will NEVER come back again and take my money elsewhere to a more affordable and well maintained business.

The staff members should be ashamed of themselves and their behaviour and the management on charge did little if anything they to reign any professionalism in the employees.
