What are these Jamberry Nail Wraps??
They are vinyl adhesive nail wraps, activated by heat and pressure. All you need to apply them is a hair-dryer to heat up the seal on the wraps, and some scissors to cut them to length. Press down firmly to create the seal and - that's it.
They will last up to 2 weeks on the hands, and up to 6 on the toes. Although I did manage to get 3 weeks out of my first sample, now i love changing them all the time!
Here are some highlights:
- Unlike nail polish, they do not chip. They are much more durable. You can try this out by wearing some Jamberry wraps as an accent nail, with nail polish on the other fingers and see how long they last.
- They are non-toxic, safe for kids, gluten /latex-free, vegan.
- They work really well on acrylics and gels. They can also be layered on top of each other for added unique effects.
- Removal is simply a matter of rubbing oil onto them and applying heat can help too. Coconut or Olive Oil is perfect, smells amazing and is so good for your skin! I find using those floss toothpicks works really well as you can slide the floss through under the wrap to take it off the nail. This means no damage to your nails, unlike the falsies from big w with the nail glue i used to use alll the time (and never lasted more than 3 days).
