Had a fabulous haircut there today. Staff are friendly and efficient!

Idk the ladys name but I had but I’ve never had such a good hair cut ever! So may not have talked much but she was very good, wish I could pick my hairdresser next time I will be back!! Good prices as well

Staff were friendly, however the haircut was TERRIBLE. Very choppy and uneven. There are parts in my hair that are longer/shorter than the other. You get what you pay for. You are much better off going to a hairdresser who knows how to cut hair. You wont be wasting your time or money!

My son and I always get our hair cut at Just Cuts in Gungahlin, Burnie, Julie and the rest of the team always look after us and do our hair exactly the way we ask for them to do it.

The Asian lady did the worst cut ever. I went home and looked my hair and noticed how badly the job was done. I had to do my own hair cut again that was a lot better.

Told at 10 to come back at 11:30, come back 11:30 have to wait. 12 walked out as still 3 ahead. Give genuine time indications as people have other things aside and have already wasted 1.5 hours waiting. Not really apologetic. Second bad experience at this place, won't be giving it a third go.

Jacob was very friendly and professional. Will definitely go back there and recommend them to everyone.

What I wanted: My hair shampooed. No haircut.

What staff should actually have said: "Although it is possible to wash your hair, our staff lack the confidence or skill to do so. Please go to another hair salon."

What actually happened:
I have a scar on my eyebrow from surgery more than 2 weeks ago. The dressings have been taken down and it's in the process of healing. Due to this, I've been advised not to get my face wet and go to the hair dresser to wash my hair.

I went in to Just Cuts where there was an older Asian lady wearing a black frilly corset, she looked at my face and said they couldn't wash my hair. Another Asian guy with a beret came to see me, said it would be fine, and booked my appointment. Said wait would be 40mins, and stated cost.

After 40mins of waiting, woman in frilly corset came out, refusing to wash my hair. She asked me what I had for my face (she meant did I have a shield to cover my face? ). She made all sorts of excuses. Beret guy nowhere to be seen. After some discussion, corset woman walked off. My main issue with Just Cuts Gungahlin is that if they weren't willing to wash my hair, they shouldn't have taken 1hr of my time and booked an appointment.

Another receptionist guy came to offer weak apologies of sorts.

Ended up going across the road to Time Hair, much better service. Got hair shampooed for $20.

Just Cuts area manager called me later. Not to apologize, but to justify her staff members behavior and actions. I told her I had my hair washed across the road, and hung up.

Just Cuts Gungahlin are unprofessional.

I've always gone to this Just Cuts & I'm always happy. Today I took my almost 2yo son in for only his second haircut & even though he was considerably upset about it, the stylist Julia did a fantastic job. So much care taken and she was very helpful. Thanks guys!!

Unfriendly and rude service, okay quality haircut.

Fatima butchered my son's hair. Asked for a tidy up, she shaved big round ear shapes half way up his head (uneven on both sides just make it even worse). As I did not want to get upset in front of my children, my husband went in with photos to complain after and she lied telling her team leader and my husband that I asked her to do that. Should not be allowed touch anyone's head in my opinion. Do not go there!!!

Staff were too busy bickering to pay any attention to their customers!. Very unprofessional! Not friendly. Never again.

Good, friendly service provided by Joanne and attention to detail as well. The scalp massage was also worth the $6 investment. I highly recommend this place, ask to get your hair cut by Joanne.

Terrible service , thrown out the door because I was wanting to get a haircut at 515 pm but they said they had already shut, despite saying open until 530 pm on both google and the sign out the front

I have previously had bad experiences at just cuts salons and I basically swore off them however my usual salon closed down recently so I needed to find a new place for a haircut. In desperation I resorted to just cuts civic even though the reviews made me sceptical. Now, I have notoriously poor quality hair (inherited from my mothers side) but I was VERY pleasantly surprised when I walked out with a nice haircut and AMAZINGLY smooth, even and shiny hair. I would recommend this place above all others I have been to. I love their quality and their amazing friendly service.

Bad experience, ruined my haircut. Clearly cannot follow simple instructions. Would not reccomend

I went to Canberra center. I reached at the shop at 1.30 pm . However one of rep said he can't book any more. Still 1.5 hours to go. I am not going there that for sure.

So I just went to just cuts. I must have had glue in my hair or something because most of my hair was disgustingly mattered and tangled. I really love long hair and really didn't want to cut it.

I had a hair dresser named Connie and she managed to get it all out. She had to cut some of it (obviously) but it's still reasonably long and looks good!

I don't normally write reviews but I'm so happy to be able to have my hair down and looking good. Thanks again!

Stella was amazing and made my hair look exactly how I wanted! She took her time and patiently curled it all, make sure each curl was beautiful and perfect! I am so so happy! The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because the actual place is a bit run down and needs a few upgrades but thank you Stella for making me look like a princess :)

Got haircuts for my 2yr and 5yr old. Didn't realise how bad my 5yrs haircut was till I got home. Can't believe I paid for his haircut. Wasn't worth $21! Very disappointing!

If i could give no stars i would, I had long hair, wanted the dead cut off, ended up with parts longer then other and chunks taken out of the back, its so un even, and up to my shoulders a good 15cm off, before i could say anything she had chopped it off, i can't wear it out, THANKS WENDY.

First I asked them to cut the dead ends off my hair, and leave it long with layers. The 'hairdresser' advised that there was a lot of 'damage' and refused to do layers until the damage was removed.We came to an agreement that my long and very thick hair would be cut to be about 8 cm below my shoulder length.

Somehow they managed to ignore my instructions and cut an extra 10 cm off my hair leaving me with hair 2 cm above my shoulders in a terrible Afro style bob!

On the upside they took 25 years off my age and I now look like a 5 year old.

Lady was quick.
More pricey than other Just Cuts I have been to. Will not return.

I went to this salon on 28 August 2016. Chloe, who trained in South Korea as a senior stylist, does a fine job with 'bobs'. I've been here a couple of times and appreciate the cheap prices. Over the years I've been to other salons where they charge triple for the same quality hair style. They are well worth a try but you may need to carefully explain what you want as one or two of the hairdressers have English as a second language.

Hi, I went to Just Cuts about 6 weeks ago. If you have long curly hair I suggest you do not go there - I came out with my long curly hair an absolute mess I asked just to get the ends trimmed - well my hair has been a total mess since it has been cut unevenly and is frizzy with bits and pieces every where - The hairdresser was Mimmi. Ladies if waiting to keep your long hair I suggest we don't get it cut at all - we can trim our own ends.

I asked for a shoulder length cut with bangs. I got a bob. I hate it.

I went to Just Cuts on the 2nd of July I don't remember the hairdresser's name, but she cut 15cm off my hair without my permission! I asked her to cut just a bit of split ends, like 2 cm maximum, she started from the back I could not see how much she was cutting off, but when she finished I was about to cry!!! 15cm off!!!I said thank you, paid 31aud and left. I was just shocked.
It's been 3 days, I still can't look in the mirror it took me 2 years to grow my hair that long, and it was over by your unprofessional staff within minutes.
Next time I'd better ask my boyfriend instead of getting a heart attack from your unprofessionals.

I had my hair cut at Erindale Just Cuts some months ago and I would certainly never repeat the experience. The Asian hairdresser is probably just used to straight hair for a start and she did an abysmal job and the hairdresser manager was cold and rude to me right from the start which should have alerted me to trouble ahead. Avoid if you have wavy
hair especially!
