Just Cuts Majura Park

We have used Maura Park services for our boys a couple of times and although the waiting time (with no appts) was longer than expected, we were very happy with the staff and how they engaged in styling. They advised us appropriately on size and style and reasoned with us. They have tried to accommodate our requirements and give sufficient time to make sure the job is done properly.
Not every Just cuts is the same though as we did not have a good experience in another Just cuts saloon. You are talking about a hair cut not a product off the shop. If a hair cut is bad, you cannot return it. It is spoilt for the next few weeks.
We have dealt with 3 staff over 2 ocassions and they are just great, very friendly and accommodative.
The staff were amazing. When I was speaking with one of the stylist, she mentioned that she has been there for over 5 years. Good on you.
Our kids love that place now. The staff even recognised us and said hello to the kids when we went past their saloon.

Rang up to make a booking saturday afternoon, was told it was a walk in service only. No worries, dropped into the shops at 3pm, told there was an hour wait and to come back at 4pm. Did some shopping and killed an hour, came back at 4pm and got told they were running late, sat around until 4.30 and still waiting. One girl was cutting the same guys hair for over half an hour, stopping to talk every 10 seconds. Also turned away 2 other people while I was there because "they were too busy." Shouldn't take 40 minutes to do a number 2 shave and a bit off the top in my opinion. There was also one male staff member who was just talking with the other female staff employee, sweeping hair up and not even cutting anyone's hair. I ended up leaving at 4.40 because I had somewhere to be at 5.

I suggest that if you're paying staff members to just stand around and chat, you might as well find someone who can talk and cut hair at the same time. This place has a poor reservation system with no accurate way of letting you know when they'll be ready for you. I've had Just Cuts haircuts elsewhere which have been really good, but I won't be visiting this place again.
