Who are KBT?

Knowledge Based Tendering (KBT) was formed to address gaps in the tendering services market, provide companies with the tools and intellectual property to increase tendering win rates and reduce overheads. KBT offers businesses a tendering competitive edge through application of the Government Evaluation Framework.

KBT was founded by Michelle Bowden, Trina Parry-Plater, Garry Downs and Gary Moran. Between them, the founding Directors have experience tendering in all levels of Government (Federal, State and Local) and Industry sectors. Each founder has demonstrated an ability to either lead or support teams in developing or responding to tenders, including the evaluation process. The founders have a combined experience of over 80 years in Government and Industry sectors including Defence, IT, Government, Security and a range of SME's.
