Another round of LES MILLS GRIT packed full of goodies. This goodie bag contains a lot of different training styles to create a fun and challenging class.
This round of GRIT has an amazing upbeat feel, but don’t be fooled; behind the super funky structure is a workout packed with heart-rate pumpers to challenge everyone’s fitness!
The inspiration for this release was based on the LES MILLS Limitless campaign launching soon. At the end of the day, the numbers and reps don’t... matter in this workout – it’s about finding our limits and pushing them.

SPRINT 13 maximises your HIIT with long Work phases and short Rests. The intensity smacks the lungs soon after pushing play and doesn’t let up for 30 minutes.
The Accelerated Warmup literally gets us ready to “Pull The Trigger” on this workout! Track 2 is a Power Tabata which engages the anaerobic system and increases our work capacity. The simple 2:1 ratio of 60 seconds Work and 30 seconds Rest is super effective at pushing us past our limits. It only gets better from here!
...Track 3 is "Right Here, Right Now" with 30 second maximal Power Intervals, backed up with longer 60 second Heavy Strength efforts. So two Power efforts followed by one Strength effort, and we REPEAT for good measure! During the Power phases we access Type II muscle fibres for athletic conditioning, then switch to a heavier Load to focus on Strength.
Reactive sports inspired Sprints feature in Track 4. It’s a full gas start and we quickly go deep into overtime. We start, we stop, and we go again! Be on your game and keep your wits about you as the length of the Sprints and Rests vary. Who’s winning this one?
The final kicker is two long 100 second Power Endurance Intervals which really HIIT home. Give it absolutely everything and finish feeling "Funkified".

We are evolving and growing so we hope you are ready for LES MILLS TONE 03!
"Go Bang" and "Arigato" set the scene for the workout ahead by priming all the muscles and mindset. You have a smorgasbord of Cardio tracks to choose from with different training focuses. "Slide" has a team training feel, "Breathe" is aerobic gold for all levels and "Boom" has loads of Burpees with the option of plates to increase cardio gains. Plus, if you have a big space, your class participants w...ill love the freedom in "You & Me" and "Gonna Make You Sweat"!
Lastly, "Wolves" is pure aerobic conditioning. There are many amazing Strength tracks to choose from using plates or bands, depending on what you have in your clubs. The Assisted Arabesque and Side Lunges are some of the highlights of this release, as well as the sculpting and toning moves for the upper and lower body that we all love.

CXWORX 32 is going to take your core strength to the next level!
The intensity kicks in from the get go with the Moving Hover in Track 2. We combine this with a challenge for the lower abdominals with the Double Leg Circle, a move that has the added benefit of developing our hip stability.
In Track 3 we use multidirectional angles of resistance to train the core, and then Track 4 is your CXWORX butt lift, absolutely free of charge! A combination of Hip Bridge Pulses and stan...ding Leg Circles provides a wicked burn for the glutes that is going to shape and tone like nothing else. We finish with fantastic work for the back muscles, generated by Rows, Back Extensions and Flutter Kicks.
The core is the powerhouse of the body and this release is going to ensure your participants stay strong and functional in all of their daily activities.

Think of the playlist of SH'BAM​ 33 as a soundtrack to an epic dance movie! There is SO much contrast and story, and the light and shade of our emotions are fully reflected in the movements.
There is a strong dance partner influence, so you will feel like team teaching this class during certain tracks, and others you will just want to teach ALL on your own!
The Warmups are simple with a club-land feeling to get the heart rate up before we move into gangsta, with great isolati...on work and a cool little armline.
The Latin Track 2 is hyper energetic but mega singalong. Track 3 is delicious jazz… simple and strutty, but with hips and shoulder movements sprinkled in for good measure.
Somehow, Fred Astaire and Ginger Rogers make their entrance to the house track and there is a Spanish-style love story in the second Latin track (yes there are two ☺)
The “dance movie” ends with a title list of moves and combos in the best mash up EVER leaving us all wasted, before we are delightfully lifted up with one of my favourite warm downs of all time, This is me, sung by our very own Les Mills Presenter, Des Helu.

LES MILLS BARRE 04 is divine. The music is sensational, the choreography is simple and the freedom to explore movement is heavenly.
“Just feel the beat and move with it.” Diana says this towards the end of Track 1; however, this sums up not only this track, but the entire release. The Warm track is split into two distinct halves, with matching sequences set to the sounds of "Chandelier".
The sultry sounds of "Havana" mixed with the intense butt burning moves in this track are... a sure fire way to set your legs on fire in Track 2, and we find "New Rules" as we reach our cardio peak with some intense butt burning movements to set your legs on fire!
The strength work starts with a "Savage" track where size doesn't matter - infact, the smaller the better here with all of those micro-circles. We bring focus to our deep postural muscles in the latter end of the class and finish with a beautiful opportunity to escape into the feeling of freedom within dance, to escape into the world of Ballet.

Whether you’re teaching BODYSTEP Classic or BODYSTEP Athletic, this workout packs an almighty punch!
For the BODYSTEP Classic class, we kick off with a total body warmup to "Work From Home". The Mountain Climbers help to warm the entire body and prepare you for the workout ahead. In Track 2, "Filthy", we continue to warm up our stepping muscles with Basic Step patterns, Squats and Lunges. Next, we introduce some rhythm with the chacha-cha’s and pushing the ceiling to inject f...lava and have a bit of fun as we complete the warmup phase of the class.
"Hello Friday" is our first Cardio Peak, and we have a new variation of the Burpee, called the Snatch Burpee. It’s all about isolated, fast, powerful movements. Mixed Strength is one of my personal favourite tracks. You’ll get a bit of "Deja Vu" with the new variation of the Needle Point, and with the use of weight plates and plyometric training, you’ll shock your body in to positive change. Peak 2 is the halfway marker in the workout, and we ignite this scorcher to "I’m On Fire". You’ll be "Hustlin’" to catch your breath in Track 7, but the trade-off is a massive leg burn. We build upper body strength using a weight plate. Next we dial up the flava with some sassy attitude in the Party Step to "You Gotta Not", then it’s full steam ahead in to the Speed Step where we smash through the sound barrier to "Let ‘Em Talk". In Peak 3 we bring out some creepy imagery to match "The Monster" under my bed lyrics, another one of my personal favourite tracks in the release.
The Athletic Circuit in the Bodystep Athletic Class is a killer track! The key is to offer the provided lighter options if your class need them, and then each time you do this Circuit, aim to do a couple of reps more than you did last time.
