Liver Kids Australia

Liver Kids Australia aims to raise awareness of childhood liver disease in Australia and generate related support and funding.

The association aims to raise the profile of childhood liver disease and increase the funding that goes toward this lesser known but very significant health issue by:
- Raising community and corporate awareness of the existence and impact of paediatric liver disease.
- Creating a forum and support network for families to share information and tips for
managing their child’s condition.
- Providing guides and resources for those wishing to undertake fundraising activities.
- Developing education programs targeting the recognition of paediatric liver conditions for relevant health practitioners.
Liver Kids also hopes to raise funding to advance research, boost
resources for patient care and provide the most up-to-date equipment for a Liver Transplant Unit.
