Macquarie Discount Pharmacy

I am always treated with courtesy and respect and receive excellent advice and service. I witnessed a young staff member today dealing with a very difficult older customer and her customer service skills were excellent. The customer gave her a very difficult time wanting a refund that wasn't appropriate. The customer tried hard to get her way and resorted to personal criticism. However, she was met with a polite respectful assertive repeating of the policy and procedures of the pharmacy. Well done!

Brilliant knowledgeable staff - I suppose this is why its so popular. It's hard to find people that actually give a damn, which is why I custom this place. The compounding service is a life saver too.....

Unbelievable incompetent. Given the fact that they usually have 10 or more people working onsite (sometimes more than the Coles up the road) and that I usually drop off prescriptions and give them a generous 60-90 minutes to fill them - they still somehow manage to either omit items, not have the thing ready or lose it entirely in the interim. And the fact that some people just seem to treat the place like some sort of social gathering hotspot adds to negative experience.

Best pharmacy in Canberra, pharmacists are always helpful, prices are reasonable. It's definitely my preferred chemist.

This pharmacy is the WORST I've ever come across. I put my script in 2 days ago and called them today to see if it had arrived and they said it hadn't come in yet and it will probably be in on Wednesday. That's 4 days after I put the script in! I've worked in pharmacy and they clearly don't care about their customers. Especially heavily pregnant ones who can't sleep because she doesn't have the medicine she has been prescribed. Not happy at all!

This is a good sized pharmacy in a nice, local area. Most products that one would need can be found here. The staff are friendly and always willing to lend a hand.

Prices are not competitive when compared with chemist warehouse and I dealt with a pharmacist who was rude and arrogant. The only plus is that their for staff are generally good to deal with and their opening hours are fairly good.
