Music For Canberra programs are designed to promote participation in music, encouraging people to enjoy and experience a wide range of hands-on musical activities. While it has a community focus, MFC engages professional tutors, conductors and artists with high levels of experience to deliver MFC programs.

Based at the Ainslie Arts Centre, Braddon, Music For Canberra brings a wealth of musical experience and has become an integral part of the cultural life of the ACT.

Music For Canberra is a major and unique contributor to the accessibility and diversity of music practice and activities in the ACT region, as there is no other community based organisation in the region providing programs of similar scope and quality for such a broad range of participants, including music for very young children, those living with disability, the young-at-heart, and those wishing to pursue professional pathways.

Music For Canberra is an ACT Government-funded Key Arts Organisation (KAO), and also receives generous funding support from The Snow Foundation as well as other partners.
