Next Gen Canberra

I joined before it opened appx 3 years ago. Great set up, mainly use the pool & spa room. The Spa, Steam & Sauna area is great. I am completely sick of paying $44 a week to be a Gold Member & been told by staff for appx 2 years when something is broken that they are waiting on parts from overseas. There is always something broken & always the same answer. It's BS. I have been very patient & when i have told the staff at reception very politely on many occasions even to the point recently that if things are not fixed i will stop direct debits until everything in the "Spa Rejuvenation Room" is working. I even asked the friendly staff member to please pass on my feedback to the boss, 3 weeks on, nothing. I'm sick of it & i know many others who are too. I have 5 family who are members & the minute there is a problem with a direct debit not going through they are onto us like you would not believe. Wont even put an Out of Order sign on what is broken & make members press dodgy buttons & hope things are working month after month after month. The only out of order sign I have seen this year was when a barricade was removed from the very impressive shower set up after more than a month, the day before the recent Open Day. The out of order sign was not visible to visitors. Enough is Enough, stop taking our money & not providing what we are paying for, Gold Membership ???? Updated post, Happy to say after 5 weeks now everything is working & the Gold Membership is worth every cent, i hope it continues!

I am trying the $20 7-day membership and so far I have been pleased with the facilities. I have used the indoor pool and shower, attended Strength 50 with Bianca and used the weights. All good. My small flat white was a bit ordinary though.

Best health club in Canberra. Great facilities and equipment, good natural lighting and well maintained.

Horrible gym (service provider) ! Please heed this warning!

On top of being incredibly overpriced (as the service is in no way premium - I found this out the hard way), The staff had been rude. I was told to stop a group workout I was doing with my partner and older brother because of policy- while we were just exercising together and I truly believe this may have been an act of racism as my brother and I are of african descent and I've witnessed inpartular one other group of caucasian wemon exercising together frequently if not others as well. I was neverable to get streaming services on the cardio equipment working (this was the main reason I signed up to this gym despite the price) and staff never helped despite prompts.

And after cancelling the membership on my end they purse collections despite my informing them of all that has happened!

As far as I'm concerned this is despicable and no such reputable establishment would conduct business in this way!

And all you have to do is read further reviews to discover I'm not the only one with such options, as I wish I had read these reviews before I signed up!

There is a great location with free parking and very good equipments at the gym.
The swimming pool with spa and sauna that are so clean. All staffs are so kind for everyone.

Now this is a world class health club! Canberra you are spoilt. Tennis, pool, Technogym equipment just like the Olympians use #wow

Great place, great facilities, great trainers and all staff..and do a good coffee..oh yes, great location..love coming here !

The facility is good and should have a better sevice around the canteen underground as well ！
