Nourishing Australia - National Committee For Nutrition

Nourishing Australia: a decadal plan for the science of nutrition, was published in 2019 by the National Committee for Nutrition at the Australian Academy of Science with generous funding from the Australian Research Council's Linkage Learned Academies Special Projects scheme. The plan sets out a strategy for realising the vision that Australian nutrition science plays a key role in improving long-term health and wellbeing globally, while delivering environmental, social and economic benefits nationally with core values of equity, sustainability, collaboration and innovation. The National Committee for Nutrition fosters nutritional science in Australia, links the Academy to Australian nutritional scientists and relevant scientific and other societies, and links Australian and overseas nutritionists, primarily through the International Union of Nutritional Sciences (IUNS).
