Nearly always fun and interesting. Nearly always buy one thing you wish you hadn't. But I do love these markets.

I think they need a bit of a refresh though. They get a little be "same y".

Friday night market is: Petite, but AWESOME.
If you like great music, appreciate Japanese food at it's best, need 30 eggs, a loaf of sourdough and a few radishes, plus chinese broccoli for Saturday's lunch, the Friday market is what you need! LOL

Great festive, relaxed vibe. Loved the live music and variety of crafted & specialty Christmassy stalls along with the wonderful array of foods.
Very busy so advise you allow time. (Carpark was pretty much full upon opening time)

This is Canberra's largest regular market, and it is always a great morning out. There is everything you would hope to find - boutique cottage goods, local food producers and farmers, and a food court serving delicious street food. It is also located near Brodburger, which arguably serves Canberra's best burgers; the Canberra Glassworks, which produces a steady stream of gorgeous glassware and glass art, and has fascinating exhibitions; and both the elegant Kingston Shops, and the vibrant Kingston Foreshore.

Great variety of locally made produce and manufactured stuffs. Good atmosphere. We bought a great camphor laurel chopping board today.

Good range of food and handmade items. Usually the same stalls every week with a few changes to fit the theme. Worth a look now and then, but definitely not the type of market you can go to weekly.

Great selection if deli goods, baked goods, jams and preserves. Upstairs is terrific for finding a unique gift, or something fun and handmade for yourself.

Just a short bus ride from the city and well worth a Sunday morning visit. Live music, good variety of food but not much variety of fresh produce in the form of fruits and vegetables.

It is a mixed market of farmers, bakers, plant nurseries, jewellers, woodworkers, metal artisan, photographers, clothiers and a variety of food and drink providers. It is usually open every Sunday. There is lots of parking nearby. Lots of quality artisan merchandise with prices to match. Usually 1 to 3 good individual or group entertainers. Also very popular for Sunday informal lunching which is quite reasonably priced but it can sometimes be difficult to get a table. Well worth a visit. Entry is free.

An eclectic mix of market. The food court is unlike any other markets that I know. It has Ethiopian food which tastes and looks like Indian food to my untrained eyes, Laotian food and nice spiced apple cider. The fashion side of the market has interesting stuff although some of them quite pricey.

The variety of stalls is great. The best stall is Buddha's Kitchen there bagels are out of this world. Buddha's Kitchen is a must try.

Only ever been to the OBDM on the fourth Sunday of the month which is their themed Antique & Collectable Stallholder Day. Found some wonderful curios at good prices followed by some great food. A day I keep in my monthly calendar not to miss. 5 STARS :)
