Onred Description

Onred was opened in 2007 at the iconic location on Red Hill Lookout.

Ten years later Onred has brought this amazing venue back to life along with its sibling establishment on the ground floor, Little Brother. Offering amazing views of Canberra in a smart and classy dining room, owner Ben Johnson and chef Jenson Heycox provide a comfortable and friendly environment to enjoy chef Jenson's delicious creations. Our focus is on food you want to eat in a place you want to be.

The wine list is charming and eclectic with a broad selection of local and international wines. There is also helpful commentary on some of the more obscure drops and staff happy to recommend interesting matches with each course.

Beautiful view and excellent customer service. Food is nice too. Thank you for the Birthday message on the dessert. It is very impressive.

Ate here last night. Menu had multiple options for the 4 courses and extras should you want. We had the matched wines for each course. The staff were attentive, proficient and an absolute delight. Add to all this the awesome views and you can't go wrong. I thoroughly recommend here and will be back soon.

The view outside of the window was great, beautiful sunset. But the food was ok... Also, waiter seems like not happy for some reason...

Food was very nice and staff were friendly. Did get a burnt piece of pork belly in the detestation menu so that was a bit of a disappointment.
