Pandsi Cake Off

About Pandsi Cake Off

Annual event to raise funds for PANDSI so they can continue to support 350 local Canberra families experiencing perinatal depression & anxiety.

Pandsi Cake Off Description

In May 2016 PANDSI set Canberrans the challenge to bake every one of the 107 cakes from the Australian Women’s Weekly Children’s Birthday Cake Cookbook. PANDSI Cake Off was created, and Canberra loved it. There was viral media interest, $20 000 was raised, as was PANDSI’s profile.

The ACT Government has committed $25 000 every year over four years in dollar for dollar matching for PANDSI Cake Off.

PANDSI piloted a Canberra themed cake event in November 2016 and again Canberra loved it. Media supported the pilot: WIN News, The Canberra Times, ABC Online and City News all ran pieces. All requested to cover the 2017 event.

13 May 2017 (the day before Mother's Day) will be the epic PANDSI Cake Off Canberra Theme event. The most popular cakes will be showcased in the PANDSI Cake Off Canberra Themed book, to be launched during PNDA Week November 2017.

If you are practicing, we encourage you to take your test cakes /cupcakes into work or to share with your mother's group, friends and family in return for a donation. The money raised can be given to the PANDSI mini Cake Off Go Fund Me account.

Get your practice in now for a chance to have YOUR cake featured in the PANDSI Cake Off Canberra Themed book!
