Hi, my name is Peita and I am a registered Family Day Care Educator with the Queanbeyan Family Day Care Scheme which has been operating for close to 35 years.
I have now spent almost 17 years working in early childhood education and care. I have been a team leader in centre based care and have been running my own Family Day Care for 9 years now.

I have 3 children of my own who are all school age now and who are a huge part of my care children's days.

I aim to provide a welcoming, nurturing and developmentally appropriate environment and program for children from birth to 12 years old.

My operating hours are Tues - Frid 8: 00am - 5: 30pm

Our week consists of Play group, Bush Kinder program 2 days a week and a regular program that follows The Early Years Learning Framework.

I am diploma trained, I have my first aid, anaphylaxis and asthma. I also attend regular training sessions with my scheme.

I am a huge believer and passionate advocate for the Family Day Care care model, it was my preferred care environment for my own child and I highly recommend it for those very precious first years.
