The Philippine Embassy in Australia congratulates Secretary of National Defense, the Honorable Delfin Lorenzana, for his keynote speech at the Australian Security Summit on 17 July 2018.

20 July 2018 - The Philippine Embassy notifies the public that all 640 slots for the Mobile Consular Mission to Brisbane, Queensland on 10-14 September 2018 have been filled up.
For applications that were received by the Philippine Embassy on or before 20 July 2018, information on the appointment day and time will be emailed not later than 15 August 2018.

Kublai Millan and Mebuyan Shine Light on Mindanaoan Art & Culture on Philippine Independence Day
CANBERRA, Australia (12 June 2018) ŌĆō The Philippine Embassy in Canberra joined the rest of the world in celebrating the 120th Anniversary of Philippine Independence with a flag raising ceremony and Davao-inspired cultural program on 12 June 2018 at the Official Residence of the Philippine Ambassador. More than 50 members of the Filipino-Australian community in Canberra joined the... celebration.
The Official Residence was filled with the paintings of visual artist Rey ŌĆ£KublaiŌĆØ Millan with his exhibit Down South, Down Under featuring pastoral scenes and people from Mindanao. During the program, Kublai shared his work with local municipalities in putting up monuments and the positive social and economic changes as a result. His exhibit in Australia is in support of the House of Hope Foundation for Kids with Cancer in Davao.
Mebuyan, an all-women group, performed original songs weaving Filipino folk and indigenous traditions with contemporary music, creating a joyous musical atmosphere in the Independence Day celebration.
The exhibit of Kublai and performances of Mebuyan were made possible by Cebu Pacific Air, House of Hope Foundation for Kids with Cancer, Mr. Miguel Ayala, Special Envoy of the Philippines to Australia and the Department of Tourism of the Philippines. END
