Portia'S Place

It's not quite the same as when Portia herself was running the place, but this unpretentious restaurant still serves some of the best Chinese food to be found anywhere in Canberra at a great price, including all of the old favourites from Portia's time as owner, including the Pepper King Island Beef, the sensational Shantung Lamb, and the signature Duck Pancakes - still served at the table just as Portia used to.

Very good banquet dinner. Good service despite being very busy on my visit. Nothing standout however.

Family dinner was delicious with great service.

Tasty food, nice people

Visited portia's tonight for Dinner, Started with some steamed dumplings and Duck Spring Rolls. The spring rolls were amazing. Followed up with the Special Fried Rice, Definitely a must have, The deep-fried duck and the Pork ribs with Dark vinegar sauce. The best chinese food I have ever had. Thank you guys

Best chinese I've had since last time I was in Sydney. Wonderful dim sims. Can't wait to have another chance to get there.

The king island beef with wasabi is just simply amazing, it melts in you mouth. Wonderful service and great food.

Service is amazing. Food is fresh and delicious. A bit on the pricy aide for Asian cuisine.
