University of Canberra's Indonesian Students' Society (UCISS) is one of other student organizations within the University of Canberra Life (UC Life).
Ppia University Of Canberra - Uciss Description
Since first time affiliation, UCISS has been granted many awards. The latest one was in September, where we were given a present in the Open Day as the most glorious student organization.
Why Join?
The members enjoy a wide range of benefits:
a. Recognizing and more understanding the culture of Indonesia, which is reflected in the values, attitudes, behaviors, and language of Indonesian students who were studying at the University of Canberra;
b. Being pleased to follow a variety of activities held by UCISS such as training of Indonesian traditional dance, enjoying a variety of cuisine from Indonesia, trips, recitations, and other activities;
c. Getting a lot of information about Australia’s culture and environment and how to adapt well, especially for newly arrived students;
d. Obtaining information on accommodation, part-time jobs, and other valuable information;
e. Having the opportunity to contribute directly or indirectly for social and humanitarian oriented UCISS’s programs, such as programs ‘GELAR’;
