Remember this man who gave his life so that others could live. Be like him in sacrificing Your self to bring oxygen (life) to others. People like that are truly heroic.

So many people, like the 13 year old girl who drew this, suffer in silence. They pretend to be ”fine” when they‘re not. They put on the mask. They become exhausted trying to be what they think others want them to be, or trying to do what they think others want them to do. They start withdrawing from people because of the expectations and demandS being with other people brings. Their loneliness is magnified.
You don’t have to pretend to be happy all the time. You don’t have to wear a mask. It’s okay to not be okay and to tell people that.
And when someone tells you they’re not okay - honour their honesty, bravery and vulnerability. Listen to them without saying a word. Just being with them and hearing them is enough.

Remember this...I love this post. Who hasn't had a time when they felt excluded? Snubbed? Rejected by others? Remember this - and be the person you wish had been there for you in that moment. It doesn't take much to be kind.
Cheers, R
