Punchforon Restaurant & Sweets

Normally the naan or roti bread is made fresh and served hot. Tonight it was obviously supermarket bought and cold and dry. Also about 1/3 the size.
The Chicken Korma was terrible. A sauce with the colour and consistency of watery custard, with almost as much sugar, had been poured over huge chunks of boiled chicken, not cooked with it.
We will be looking elsewhere from now on.

Excellent and very yummy traditional bengali food. Just love all the foods there. Friendly service too.

We attended this with low expectation. However, was pleasantly surprised by the service and the quality of the food.
We had কাচ্চি বিরিয়ানি and সর্ষে ইলিশ and they were really good.
i will definitely try again when I am in Canberra next.

My first impression of this establishment was terrible. The 'kebabs' are just packed containers of meat and roti bread which was a dissapointment.

I had asked if it is the 'Doner wrapped kebab that is popular in Mediterranean cuisine and illustrated it, I was told Yes. At a minimum, I was expecting fresh food.. The roti was crusty as though it was frozen and the 3 meat dishes I ordered were dry, lacking quality.

Being completely honest, I would have been fine with the meal if it was of much higher quality but I wouldn't reccomend this eatery to anyone.

I'm sure it is not the first time they have taken advantage of people this way.

Most delicious food I have eaten in as long as I can remember. Fuska 10/10, Okra Bhaji 10/10, Morog Polau 10/10. This is some of Canberra's tastiest food without a doubt.

Found the service is professional and really good hospitality. Many traditional yammi food. Foods are fresh and in time service. Restaurant location and cleanliness is excellent. They are very good then any other Indian red. I use to come here every week with my family and friends. I wish everyone like this Bangladeshi restaurant.
