Queen'S Terrace Café

4 stars. You'd expect 2 stars for a cafe in Parly, but it was surprisingly good quality and good value. Do try it.

Great food. Reasonally priced. Fully recommended.

You have to run the gauntlet of security but one of the best daylight venues in Canberra. Great views from the terrace, accommodating staff, wifi, spacious modern with a carefully crafted everyman menu. And you never know who might drop in for a quiet proletariat breather from a Parliamentary session.

Lots of seats, whether indoors, outdoors on the terrace, or there's also a more secluded indoor section with couches. Those inside seats by the windows get a nice view north. Counter service, self service water and cutlery. Originally thought about a bahn mi but upon seeing the items on display, decided they didn't look anywhere near authentic and went instead with a house made lasagne. Food was served within 15 minutes nice and hot. The actual lasagne was very dry (as in no sauce) - taste was ok though I would've preferred more sauce.

Surprisingly good and delicious! Prices are reasonable, bacon & egg roll, chicken sandwich are yummy! Highly recommend! Coffee is average. Nice and clean environment. I will be back just because of the food. Aha

Long life salad was disappointing, everything else was superb...especially the service.

Wow really surprised, warm friendly staff, cold drinks were ice cold and pizza was amazing with plenty of toppings. We ordered the large meat lovers pizza ($18) and could not fault the food at all. We will be going back tomorrow!

Nice place and food ok but capers in a chicken tortilla???? Selection of cold table waters was also nice and staff are friendly.
