Occupational Therapy services: home modifications, equipment

We provide Occupational Therapy services to adults to support your independence, comfort and safety at home and in the community, and your ability to keep doing the everyday things that are important to you.

Our services include:
- designing home modifications e. g. rails, ramps, bathroom access
- prescribing assistive equipment and aids e. g. walkers, kitchen tools, hospital beds
- recommending ways to reduce your falls risk
- devising safer or easier ways to do things e. g. cooking, gardening, dressing
- producing living skills development programs
- delivering mental health interventions (non-acute)
- providing advice about your support needs
- referring you to other services as required

We are a home visiting service for the ACT and local NSW areas. We work closely with local equipment supply and building businesses and community services.

We have experience providing services to older people, people with dementia, chronic disease (heart, lung, circulation issues), neurological conditions, orthopaedic conditions (e. g. after hip replacement, broken bone) and people with severe mental health conditions.

We are registered to provide the above services for the NDIS (ACT and NSW registered – approved to provide major modifications), My Aged Care, Medicare, and various private health insurers.
