Underwhelmed and disappointing!! I recently visited Rubicon for dinner as part of a large group who selected the 8 course banquet. The staff on the evening were friendly and the food was good. Unfortunately most of my group finished dinner with an appetite as the serve sizes were modest and shared between many people. Perhaps it was due to the size of our group however for the cost of the banquet, it was disappointing to walk away unsatisfied!

Great food and service, nice cosy environment

Superb food and great service in a cosy warm restaurant. The wine list is fantastic as is the cheese & port selection. Not a cheap place, but worth every penny.

Again another 5 star experience! This place has amazing acoustics thanks to the drapes and soft panels meaning you can talk normally and enjoy the amazing food. Fantastic service!

Super nice place, service and food!

Amazing food!!! Rarely have I tested food that was enough flavoured without being too much. They managed to get the perfect balanced. Aubergine is doing too much and we are lost in the flavours they offer, Pomegrenate not enough in the flavour, Rubicon is just right. Dishes are creative with surprising combination which makes our palates delighted.

Great service!!! The service was amazing which is very rare in Australia. No poorly trained student. Staff knew and was able to advise on dishes, attended to our needs timely while being discreet and with a hint of humour for some.

Relaxing atmosphere!!! The separations make the restaurant cosy, quiet and very comfortable. Light in the ceiling make the atmosphere very special.

Being French, I have very high standard when it comes to food, service and atmosphere, and Rubicon was truly one of the best restaurants I have ever been to.

We chose our own degastation dinner with matching wines. Delicious food and good service. Try to avoid the tables at the front if you can, it can get quite breezy when people go in and out, especially in winter.
Rubicon is one of our go-to restaurants for special occasions.
