Service was poor, a waiter barely came past the back area. Boneless kitchen with lemon sauce was disgusting. What lemon sauce is over caramelised and taste burnt. Tried to convince us to take it but it was too disgusting. Don't recommend

One of my favourite places to eat in Canberra. Good Asian food and friendly service. Unfortunately, it's very loud in there and difficult to have a conversation.

We got take out from here. It was alright. Nothing really great, except the laksa was awesome! Everything else was a bit too oily.
Friendly staff though and restaurant when we picked up food looked nice.

Had the Ipoh combination hoi fun, $17. A bit pricier than what I'd expect to pay in Brisbane, but it's pretty nice and a sizeable portion too. Food came out piping hot in about 5 minutes after ordering - can't remember the last time I experienced such speedy service!

Penang fried kway teow was really nice...but the fried rice (chicken and salted fish) was sad.

Can be very busy at times, but overall Sammy's provides some of the best noodles in the Civic area. Whether your ordering the Szezsuan Beef or Singapore noodles, or the Char Kway Teo, they provide some of the best meals of their kind as well as superior customer service and an accessible location.

Food was ok. Busy and you'll often be squeezed into tables. Some may enjoy that kind of atmosphere, but it made it difficult to talk to your dinner companions. No split bills.
