To report a crime or for general advice about local security and safety issues in your community, call your local police on 13 14 44 or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
For police, fire or ambulance response to a life threatening emergency or if a crime is in progress, call triple zero (000).
If you wish to report suspicious activity, call the National Security Hotline on 1800 123 400.

Watch out for scams using Facebook Messenger!
How this scam works - the scammer, posing as a friend or family member - will send you a message claiming you qualify for "free money" from the government or other organisation. The catch is that you need to pay upfront first. The con artist will claim the money pays for "delivery" or "processing."
