Telstra Tower

I don't see what the big deal is. We just went to the lobby, and we liked the scale model, but otherwise meh. The lookout on the drive up blackmountain was alright though.

A very beautiful tower with great views of Canberra! I do miss the revolving restaurant though and I wish there were more shops but there aren't enough visitors to keep those thing running plus they were pretty expensive anyway. If you're visiting Canberra then you MUST visit Telestra Tower! 😀😉👍

The tower itself is fine but the internals are in dire need of a renovation. The Cafe is small and looks thrown in and the gift shop is 2 metres of tourist junk with half of the shelves barren. The restaurant needs to be reopened or have the cafe separated and brought to that level for a better food experience. It would be an excellent breakfast/brunch/lunch location.

Please note that this venue is NOT suitable for those with physical impairment, parents with prams or the disabled.

I am heavily pregnant. I went to Telstra Tower with my partner and 1.5 year old son, who was is a pram. We were not aware of payment being required as we thought it was just a lookout. It still wasn't clear when we walked in but it was clear that we needed a security guard to help us up in the lift. As was instructed, we phoned several times on the supplied handset to no avail.

I then walked up the stairs as I wanted photos. My partner opted to wait. Being quite pregnant, this was very difficult and painful at times. When I got upstairs, I explained the situation and asked them to assist us up the stairs, having to call my partner on the mobile and arrange for him to wait.

It wasn't until after all of this that we were advised we had to pay, and then realised we had left our wallet in the car. Instead of perhaps considering free entry after such a screw up (as would any good customer service rep), the security guard was instructed to escort us downstairs. I was too uncomfortable by this stage to be bothered going back again, only to again receive no response on the phone that THEY instruct you use!

Very poor and unapologetic​ customer service. Won't be going back. Won't be recommending.

Obviously can't comment on the view, since we were unable to see it.

I went at night. It was really good. The view at the top was wonderful. The gift shop was nice. I loved how I could see pretty much the whole of Canberra. I liked how it lights up because I could see it all the way from diplomat hotel at night.

Includes fancy rotating restourant. Bit over priced. Excellent view.

The place is little old now and is due for a renovation. But i enjoyed my time here.

U expect a ''Telsta tower' to have free internet, they don't LOOL -_- bruh....

The view is great but the building is dated and you have to pay for it. Would love to see an updated cafe and shop.
Be sure to go to the basement level to watch the movie of the making of the tower. My favorite part of the place.
