The Aranda Shops

This page is designed to keep you up to date with everything happening at the new Aranda Shops and its resident businesses.

The Aranda Shops is a project to revitalise the somewhat unkempt (though not unloved! ) local shopping centre in the Canberra suburb of Aranda.

The shops first came to life in 1968, designed by Dutch architect Dirk Bolt, and held a variety of businesses for several decades. However, the 2000s have held quieter times, with minimal occupation.

September 2014 marked a new stage, with the folk behind Two Before Ten Cafe and Coffee Roasting company taking on the master lease for the shops - to try and bring life back to it's beautiful grounds.

Plans for the site include: boutique cafe, coffee roaster, bar, pizzeria and yoga /pilates /dance studio with treatment (ie massage etc) rooms.
